We’re Steve and Dan, your resident Boo-Foons. Together, we plunge headfirst into the paranormal soup of haunted houses, spectral legends, alien oddities, cryptid sightings, and the occasional “what even is that?” moment. If it’s mysterious, we’re investigating it. If it’s ridiculous, we’re probably laughing at it.
And if you’re wondering where to start? Well…
How about the time we travelled to bonny Scotland to hunt a three‑headed giant, Red Ettin? Or when we racked up imaginary air miles chasing ghostly brides around the world in Women in White? Maybe you fancy something aquatic like diving into Māori legend in Taniwha, or revisiting the UK’s most chaotic Boxing Day UFO incident in Aliens of Boxing Day.
From haunted paintings (Henrietta Nelson) to witchcraft museums, fairy cattle, boggarts, and a pub crawl so haunted we needed a designated spirit guide, every episode is a new adventure, and every adventure is delightfully unhinged.
But don’t expect solemn candlelit séances or serious-faced ghost hunters. This is The Boo-Foons: part podcast, part pantomime, all passion. We mix folklore with foolishness, history with hilarity, and theories with tomfoolery, because the unknown deserves a bit of fun.

The Oni are typically seen as the demons, as well as having some… well… shall we say… interesting stories surrounding them.
